Dear Editors,

As a Tibetan, I cannot thank you enough for taking the initiative to start an online journal which allowed Tibetans from all walks of life to express themselves.  [See editorial here]  At a time when many of our media personnel had to, unfortunately, exercise restraint given the mud-slinging that has now become the norm, you displayed admirable patience and daring in enduring the unfair criticisms thrown your way – so thank you!

I thank you especially knowing that you all have full-time jobs; that you were doing this voluntarily; and fully understanding how difficult it is to see-through-to-the-very-end a responsibility of this magnitude, particularly given the lack of any tangible rewards. I have always believed that community service is a journey between hope and discouragement; often times there are more reasons to be discouraged than to be hopeful  -- but you persevered through it all allowing constructive discussions, and sometimes even, in your better judgment, the more “unconstructive” ones.

So, thank you!

Regards,
